Dave Chappelle's Block Party (2004) is a rare gem of a film. In 2004 the infamous comedian hosted a secret block party in Brooklyn, for his hometown community from Ohio. Surprise guests include Erykah Badu, Kanye West, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Dead Prez, Common, The Roots... and The Fugees (reunited after seven years). Directed by Michel Gondry (Bjork, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind) the film speaks of the relationship between local community, events and hip hop.

Lyrix Organix host stages at Glastonbury, sold out Roundhouse, deliver international workshops (British Council, Roundhouse) and have collaborated with Akala, Kate Tempest and Ed Sheeran.
